Pune University Distance Education: SOL SPPU will commence the admission process for Distance UG and PG programs like BBA, MBA, MA, and more under the January session 2026. The expected last date to submit the form will be 30 March 2026*. Those who have cleared their last qualifying examination and made it to the merit list can get enrolled in the university. There is no entrance examination accepted by the university. These courses are offered through the Management and Computer Application disciplines. To get registered for admission, one has to pay an application fee, which is non-refundable and is INR 800 (approx).

Savitribai Phule Pune University SOL is soon going to open the admission process for all UG and PG programs. For the upcoming January session 2026, the last date to get enrolled is expected to be 30 March 2026.

Each candidate has the choice to opt for the MBA, BBA, BCA, and MCA programs through distance mode at Pune University Distance Education. The entire admission process is done based on the online mode. To download the admission brochure, applicants shall visit the official portal. 

The university chooses candidates for admission based on their previous qualification as admission is done without appearing in the respective entrance exam. All course program fee set by the university ranges between INR 39,720 and INR 43,720 per year. 

Eligibility for Pune University Distance Education 

Candidates can get eligible for admission once they have met all the basic requirements. The eligibility criteria for each course at Pune University distance education may vary depending on different specializations. Given below are the general eligibility points required for admission: 

For Undergraduate Programs: 

• UG program applicants have to pass a 10+2 examination or equivalent from a recognized board. 
• Students who are required to get admission have to qualify with the merit marks, which is 45% for all courses.

For Postgraduate Programs: 

• Having a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university or institute is necessary for taking admission to any PG program. 
• Students belonging to the general category have to score a minimum of 50% marks, while candidates who belong to the ST, SC, or reserved category have to score atleast 45% marks.

Pune University Distance BCA

Students who are looking to apply for a 3-year BCA undergraduate program through distance mode can get admission at Pune University Distance Education. The objective of the BCA course is to provide students with a strong foundation in computer applications, programming, and information technology, preparing them for careers in the IT industry and higher studies.

The curriculum of the course is spread across 6 semesters. To be eligible for admission, students need to have passed the 10+2 examination in the required stream with at least 45% marks. INR 43720 is the annual course fee for the BCA course set by Pune University’s distance education. 

Pune University Distance MBA

Those who pursue an SPPU MBA program through distance education get to study management principles, marketing, finance, human resources, operations, and business strategy. This program can be completed within 2 years, which is spread across 4 semesters. 

Those who get selected for admission have to pay an annual course fee of INR 40220 specified by the university. Admission is granted to those who have a 3-year bachelor’s degree in any specialized program with an aggregate mark of 50%. Students get selected based on merit as no entrance exam is accepted.
