Panjab University BEd Distance Education
BEd distance education at Panjab University will open for July 2026 from 01 July 2026. This BEd program is specially designed for working teachers and follows NCTE guidelines. The course will be completed in 2 years of duration, spread into 4 semesters. The curriculum covers important topics such as pedagogy, educational psychology, classroom handling, and practical training. Admission is offered purely on a merit basis on the marks obtained in the qualifying exam.
To be eligible, candidates must have completed a bachelor’s degree in any stream with a minimum of 50% marks. As per the NCTE guidelines in in-service elementary teachers or candidates who have completed an NCTE-recognized teacher education course in face-to-face mode are also eligible. After the merit list is released on the official website, candidates need to attend the counselling session. The average annual fee of the BEd course is INR 25,000 approx.
Panjab University MBA Distance Admission
Panjab University distance education offers MBA admission for the July session 2026 from 1st July 2026. MBA is a two-year course divided into 4 semesters. The course will provide students with strong management, leadership, and analytical skills. Students can choose two specialisations in the third and fourth semesters, such as marketing, finance, HRM, IT & operations, general management, and entrepreneurship.
Admission to MBA course is done through an entrance exam conducted by a university only known as CET Panjab University, followed by a counselling session and document verification. To apply, students must have completed a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university with at least 50% marks. The program is suitable for students who want flexible management education while continuing work. The average MBA course fee is INR 45,000 approx per annum.
Panjab University Distance Education Entrance Exam
Panjab University conducted an entrance exam to provide admission to its MBA course in distance education. The university conducts the CET entrance exam held in Chandigarh. The test is of two hours and carries 100% weightage in the selection process. It consists of 100 multiple-choice questions, each with four options such as A, B, C, and D.
The exam has four sections, including data interpretation, numerical ability, verbal ability & reason and general English. Each section contains 25 questions. There is no negative marking, making it easier for students to attempt all questions confidently. CET PANJAB UNIVERSITY entrance exam is expected to be held in August 2026.
