JMI Distance Education: Jamia Millia Islamia through its distance mode offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and advanced diploma programs covering several specializations. For the academic year 2025-26, the university has not started the online admission process. It will soon start accepting the online a[plication form and the expected last date to apply for the desired program is 11 August 2025. JMI distance education allotted seats based on the academic marks of the candidates in their last qualifying examination. However, those who want to pursue an MBA or BEd program have to appear in an entrance test which is conducted by the university itself. JMI Distance Education Admission 2025-26

JMI distance education is going to begin the admission process soon for the July session 2025-26 and eligible applicants can apply till an expected last date of 11 August 2025. This university allows candidates to apply either online or offline. Admission allotment is based on the last academic qualifying marks or marks obtained in their entrance examination. At the time of getting registered applicants have to pay a registration fee of INR 500 to INR 700 depending on different programs. The application fee paid is non-refundable.

Several online modes of payments are available for candidates including Credit/Debit card, UPI, Net Banking, Online wallet, Demand Draft, and more. Some of the most preferred courses of JMI CDOE are MBA, MA in Islamic Studies, BEd, BBA, and BCom in International Business and Finance. JMI DDE Eligibility

Applicants who want to study any specialized course at JMI distance education have to meet all the basic admission requirements. Students have to apply before the expected deadline specified by the university. Here are some criteria to keep in mind at the time of taking admission: 

• Those applicants interested in UG programs should have completed their intermediate examination from a reputed board. The minimum qualifying marks needed is 45%, however, for BEd program applicants need to have 50% marks. 
• A graduate degree in a related specialization is mandatory to apply for any PG program along with 50% marks. 
• Admission to advanced diploma is based on the qualifying marks obtained in the 3-year UG degree. 
• To be eligible for admission to MBA or BEd program students must appear in an entrance test and participate in the interview round. 
• JMI CDOE has not set any age limit for admission to any program.

JMI Distance Education UG Admission

Jamia Millia Islamia provides admission in multiple undergraduate programs  such as BA, B.Com, BBA, and BEd across various disciplines like General, Business Administration, and Commerce. To be eligible for UG admission, candidates must have completed 10+2 or an equivalent examination from a recognized board with a minimum of 45% to 50% marks, depending on the course. Students can complete any undergraduate program in 3 years along with 6 semesters. However, the BEd program lasts for 2 years which is divided into 4 semesters. 

The selection process is based on merit, followed by document verification and fee payment for final enrollment. Those who are applying for the BEd program have to appear in an entrance examination conducted by the university itself. Students can apply for the UG programs once the admission process gets started for the July session 2025-26.  11 August 2025 is expected to be the last date for submission of online forms. An application fee of INR 500 to INR 700 is required to be paid. JMI CDOE has set the UG course fee that ranges between INR 7200 to INR 20000. 

JMI Distance Education PG Admission

The application process for JMI distance education PG admissions will begin soon for the July session 2025-26 and the last date is expected to close the admission process is  11 August 2025. The university offers admission in a variety of PG programs such as MA, MBA, and M.Com across multiple disciplines including Sociology, History, Urdu, Political Science, Public Administration, Education, English, and Hindi. All postgraduate programs last for 2 years but students who fail to complete can take a maximum duration of 4 years. 

To be eligible, candidates must hold a relevant bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% marks, depending on the program. Along with this, students need to appear in an entrance examination if he/she is opting for an MBA program. Interested and eligible candidates also have to pay an application fee which is INR 500 to INR 700. JMI CDOE has set the PG course fee between INR 10000 to INR 25000.

The admission process supports both online and offline applications, so students can select whichever option works best for them. The application fee must be paid while enrolling for any course. Several modes of online and offline payment cycle are available for candidates such as UPI, Demand Draft, NEFT, RTGS, and many more.

Step 3:  Create a new account by registering with an active email ID, name, ID proof and mobile number.

Step 4: Now, log in to JMI distance education website using your registered applicant ID and password.

Step 5: Carefully fill out the online application form with personal details, academic background, and preferred course.

Step 6: Upload scanned copies of necessary documents like recent photograph, signature, and educational certificates in the

same size as mentioned in the guidelines.

Step 7: Make the application fee payment online using debit card, credit card, or net banking.

Step 8: After reviewing all details, submit the completed application form and save the confirmation slip.

Step 9: If the chosen course requires an entrance test, appear for it on the scheduled date.
