JMI Distance Education: The admission forms for Jamia Millia Islamia distance learning courses will soon be released for the January 2026 academic session. Interested candidates will be able to apply for various UG, PG, and Diploma courses, including BEd and MBA. The tentative last date to fill out the admission form will be 30 January 2026. The registration fees for the UG/PG/Diploma are INR 500, and BEd/MBA are INR 1500.

The online registration forms for Jamia Millia Islamia Distance Education courses will be released on 27 December 2025. The last date to fill out the admission form will be 30 January 2026 for the academic session January 2026. This university allows candidates to apply either online or offline. Admission allotment is based on the last academic qualifying marks or marks obtained in their entrance examination. At the time of getting registered, applicants have to pay a registration fee of INR 500 to INR 700, depending on the different programs. The application fee paid is non-refundable.

Eligibility for JMI Distance Education 

Applicants who want to study any specialized course at JMI distance education have to meet all the basic admission requirements. Students have to apply before the expected deadline specified by the university. Here are some criteria to keep in mind at the time of taking admission: 

• Those applicants interested in UG programs should have completed their intermediate examination from a reputed board. The minimum qualifying marks needed is 45%, however, for BEd program applicants need to have 50% marks. 
• A graduate degree in a related specialization is mandatory to apply for any PG program along with 50% marks. 
• Admission to advanced diploma is based on the qualifying marks obtained in the 3-year UG degree. 
• To be eligible for admission to MBA or BEd program students must appear in an entrance test and participate in the interview round. 
• JMI CDOE has not set any age limit for admission to any program.

JMI Distance Education UG Admission

Jamia Millia Islamia provides admission in multiple undergraduate programs such as BA, B.Com, BBA, and BEd across various disciplines like General, Business Administration, and Commerce. To be eligible for UG admission, candidates must have completed 10+2 or an equivalent examination from a recognized board with a minimum of 45% to 50% marks, depending on the course. Students can complete any undergraduate program in 3 years, along with 6 semesters. However, the BEd program lasts for 2 years, which is divided into 4 semesters. 

The selection process is based on merit, followed by document verification and fee payment for final enrollment. Those who are applying for the B.Ed program have to appear in an entrance examination conducted by the university itself. Students can apply for the JMI DDE UG Admission for the January session 2026.  30 January 2026 is the last date for submission of online forms. An application fee of INR 500 to INR 700 is required to be paid. JMI CDOE has set the UG course fee that ranges between INR 7200 to INR 20000. 

JMI Distance Education PG Admission

The application process for JMI distance education PG admissions is ongoing for the January session 2026, and the last date to close the admission process is  30 January 2026. The university offers admission in a variety of PG programs such as MA, MBA, and M.Com across multiple disciplines, including Sociology, History, Urdu, Political Science, Public Administration, Education, English, and Hindi. All postgraduate programs last for 2 years, but students who fail to complete can take a maximum duration of 4 years. 

To be eligible, candidates must hold a relevant bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% marks, depending on the program. Along with this, students need to appear in an entrance examination if he/she is opting for an MBA program. Interested and eligible candidates also have to pay an application fee which is INR 500 to INR 700. JMI CDOE has set the PG course fee between INR 10000 to INR 25000.
