Pondicherry University is now accepting applications for its Distance Education programs for the 2025–26 academic year. Students who are interested can apply online through the official university website. The last date to submit the application is 31 August 2025, so it’s a good idea to apply early and avoid the last-minute rush. For all courses, admission is based on marks scored in previous exams. However, no entrance test is accepted by the university for admission.

To complete the application, students must pay a fee of INR 200. This can be paid easily through Net Banking, UPI, NEFT, or using a Credit or Debit Card. Students must know that the application fee is non-refundable. Along with the application fee, students have to pay tuition, library, laboratory, and examination fees. Before applying, students must have both an ABC ID and a DEB ID, as required under the National Education Policy (NEP). These IDs help in tracking academic progress and are now mandatory for all applicants.
