The Guru Jambhashewar University admission portal for distance education is going to open on 1st January 2026 (tentative date) for the degree-based courses. Students who want to take admission in BA, BCom, MA, MBA, MCom, MSc or MCA courses can apply for the 2026 January academic cycle. The duration of these programmes is 2 to 4 years in the semester system.
The university provides admission into the UG and PG courses through its CDOE online website and the admission process is on a merit basis for the students. The registration fee is INR 100 to 500 as a non-refundable fee. The application fee for the general category is INR 400, INR 200 for EWS (Haryana) candidates and INR 100 for other reserved categories. There is an INR 500 late fee charge.
GJU Distance Education Courses & Fees
The fee structure of Guru Jambeswara University ODL courses is affordable and makes the courses accessible for most of the students. The total fee for UG courses is up to INR 13,500 and INR 6,500 semester-wise. For PG courses, the fee is on the slightly higher side, which is INR 15,500 to 50,000, depending on the course. GJU Distance MBA
GJU provides an MBA course in ODL (Open & distance learning) mode for the duration of 2 years in a semester system. The course comes with 6 specialisations, such as a master’s in business administration in human resource management, finance, marketing, international business management, production and operations management and information technology management.
The ODL MBA fee is INR 11,000 to 14,000 per semester and INR 500 is the admission fee. Candidates can take admission into this course by merit list, which is released by the GJU. The admission procedure for the 2026 session will start in the month of January for the 2026 academic year through the CDOE portal.
GJU Distance MCom Course
BCom students can apply for GJU Distance MCom programmes through the CDOE portal. The university offers a master’s degree in commerce for 2 years and the curriculum of the programme is divided into 4 semesters according to the NEP. The course includes 3 major elective subjects: human resource management, finance management and marketing management.
To have an admission into the ODL MCom course, students must have a graduation degree with 50% marks from a recognised university. The total fee for this programme is INR 32,000, and candidates can pay the fee semester-wise. INR 6,500 – 9,500 is the per-semester fee and INR 100 to 400 is the admission fee.
