Jaipur National University Distance Education: Jaipur National University was founded in 2007, and it is a private university. The university is located in Jaipur, Rajasthan. The university is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). All distance learning courses are approved by the Distance Education Bureau. It has been awarded with an “A grade” by the NAAC. 

Jaipur National University offers more than 25 distance learning courses across 8 major disciplines, giving students a wide choice of programs to pursue at the Undergraduate and Postgraduate levels. The university offers two admission cycles every year, allowing students to enroll in either the January session or the July session as per their convenience. The non-refundable registration fee paid by the applicants is INR 650 approx.

Students can choose to apply for courses like MBA, MCA, and BCA.

The total course fee for all programs starts to range between INR 10,000 and INR 38,000 per annum. The admission process at Jaipur National University Distance Education is mainly merit-based, which means students have to secure a qualifying mark in their previous examination. Selection is not based on the entrance test at the university.

Eligibility Criteria for JNU Distance Education Admission 2026

JNU Distance Education BSc Admission 2026

Students who choose the BSc program through Jaipur National University Distance Education get to study important topics such as physics, chemistry, mathematics, biology, computer science, and other core scientific subjects. The main goal of the course is to help candidates build strong scientific understanding, practical thinking, and problem-solving skills that can support both higher studies and career growth. The admission process for the BSc course is expected to start soon for the January 2026-27 cycle.

Admission to the BSc program is offered to those candidates who have passed an intermediate examination with a minimum of 40% marks. Selection is based purely on merit, as the university selects students according to their marks in the qualifying exam. All UG programs have a duration of 3 years, which is spread across 6 semesters. All BSc specialized course fee ranges between INR 12000 and INR 16000. 

JNU Distance Education MA Admission 2026

For the session January 2026-27, JNU distance education is going to invite candidates soon for all courses, such as the MA program. Students who choose the MA program through the university get the opportunity to explore advanced concepts in subjects like English, History, Sociology, Political Science, Psychology, and various other humanities and social science fields. 2 years is the duration required to complete any postgraduate program. The curriculum of this course is spread across 4 semesters.

Selection is done strictly on merit, and applicants are shortlisted based on their academic performance in the qualifying examination. The basic eligibility is to have a bachelor’s degree in any specialized program or its equivalent from a reputed university or institute. Each MA specialized course fee ranges between INR 18000 and INR 22000.
