SNDT University offers various courses to the bachelor’s degree holders in distance education. Candidates can pursue BA, BCom, MA, MCom and PG diploma-based courses. The duration of these programmes is 2 to 4 years in the semester system. SNDT university is going to open its admission process for the 2026 academic session.
Students can apply for UG and PG courses since 30th December 2025 for the January session. Eligibility Criteria For SNDT Distance Education Courses
The eligibility criteria for SNDT UG and PG courses is described below in brief. That must be read before starting the application form submission process for the 2026 session.
Eligibility Criteria for UG Courses:
- Must have a 10+2 education qualification from a state or central board in India.
- Have scored 50% marks in the relevant subject.
- 5% of relaxation is given to the reserved categories.
- The admission process is based on a merit list.
Eligibility Criteria for PG Courses:
- Graduation in any discipline or equivalent from a recognised university or institution.
- Secured 50% marks in the Unreserved category.
- 45% marks by the reserved categories.
- No age limitations to have admission to distance education.

The fee structure is based on many parameters, like course fee, examination fee, admission fee, sports fee, activity fee and so on. The tuition fee at SNDT distance education is INR 15,000 to 1,00,000 for different programmes.
The registration fee is INR 500 to 2,000 for various categories. Candidates can pay the fee semester-wise as well. To pay the fee, you can use digital payment systems to make the process easy and transparent for both parties.
SNDT Distance BCom
SNDT University offers a distance BCom (Bachelor’s in Commerce) course for the duration of 3 years, which is divided into 6 semesters. The programme is delivered in the English medium only to the students. The curriculum of the course is designed by the expert faculty members of the university.
The eligibility criteria to have admission into this programme is to have a senior secondary education in the commerce field with 50% marks. The total fee for this course is INR 20,500 (approx.) per annum, which you can pay in instalments as well. The admission procedure for the BCom course will start soon in the month of December 2025 for the new academic year.
SNDT Distance MCom
The university provides a postgraduate degree in commerce and it is a 2-year-long course for the students. The programme is taught by the senior and experienced faculty staff members of the SNDT University. Students can enrol in this course in the English medium.
The eligibility criteria for this programme is to have a BCom/BMS/BBA or equivalent degree from a recognised university. SNDT University is offering this course within a fee range of INR 6,000 to 20,000 on average per year. Candidates will be able to apply for this course in the January session 2026.

Interested students can apply for bachelor’s and master’s courses at SNDT University, and the admission process is going to start on 30th December 2025 (tentative date) for the upcoming 2026 session. The full detailed admission process is described here to read and follow:
- Go to the official portal of the university: https://www.sndt.ac.in/
- Tap on the ‘admission’ tab and select the admission session.
- Now register yourself by submitting the details: your full name, phone number, email address, course, etc.
- Then fill out the application form after completing the registration process.
- In that form, you need to fill in your personal and educational information in the correct order and spelling.
- After that, upload the scanned copies of the required documents.
- Then submit the fee via UPI or the net banking system.
- Have a hard copy of the application form with the fee receipt.
